And Now for Something Completely Different

as Monty Python would say, And Now for Something Completely Different!!  Not sure how exactly this event came about, but certainly should be interesting! A combined Bonneville/MINI event, with a Bonfire and potluck on Friday, June 15th, followed up with a Fun Run around the Mankato area. The Bonfire will be at smellbird’s, and Qtip is putting together the Fun Run. more to follow when we get it, or follow the threads in the forums

New London to New Brighton Rally

’sotaMINIs held their 3rd Annual New London to New Brighton run. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but Rob did say it was their best year yet! We saw cars from as far away as North Dakota, Chicago, and even the U.P. Michigan. I received a neat t-shirt from the 2007 London Brighton run, cool to see that NL2NB made the list of this years events on it! A big thanks to all who made this event possible, and to my great Rally driver for the day, Hiromi. After the rally run and picnic, we had a showing of 8 MINIS at the Lake Elmo drive-in theater. We will do that again, but a grill, burgers and brats are a must! It did make for a long drive home though, we arrived back safely in Rochester at 03:00 am.
